Best BMW and Mercedes mechanics in San Diego. Hands down the best service I've ever received from a mechanic. Their customer service is top notch and they always fix the problem the first time. These guys treat you like family! Never once have I felt like I’m being lied to, and as a female who knows nothing about cars it can happen easily. These guys are on point. I'm always worried about thanking my car to a shop because most mechanics are huge scammers especially with luxury cars. I came in to check them out and spoke with the owner Omid who's father started the business in 1980. Very cool and honest guy that made me feel good about doing business with him. His mechanics are well trained and knowledgeable. I came in just for an oil change which they did along with cleaning my car. They notified me of things that need to be done and made suggestions on how long I got till its critical. They were all of the things I already knew about and they were not pushing me on getting them done or doing stuff that wasn't needed. Very happy I have these guys near by and I feel good about trusting them with my car. In additional to all of that they are well priced so over all I highly recommend them.

Don't take your vehicle anywhere else. This place is awesome. Basically the best prices you whatever fine when it comes to getting your vehicle fixed. I got a basic oil change and they did a full inspection on the entire vehicle. Wrote down everything that eventually needs to be replaced or fixed or maintenance. They are not pushy. They do a good job and prices are really fair. They are honestly about 40% cheaper than the dealership. And it's a more intimate experience when you talk to the managers. Personal. Omid and Bert are very knowledgeable and informative. They know their German vehicles. Don't hesitate take your vehicle here.

I had a laundry list of problems with my BMW (fan blower wasn't working, oil change and check engine light were on, rattling under my car, etc) and brought it in for an inspection. Omid, the manager, was very reassuring and got back to me the same day about the repairs my car would need vs. the ones that could wait until later (the ones that wouldn't be a safety issue).

When it came time to decide what to get fixed, Omid took the time to explain what the repairs would entail which made it easier for me to make my decisions. Being able to speak with the manager was helpful and not intimidating at all.

The German Auto Center is located two blocks from the 923 bus line (if you're coming from OB or Downtown, it's convenient), but they offered to give me to and from home when it came time to drop off or pick up my car. And they also washed my car, so yeah, that was nice.

It's definitely better to go to a specialist for German automotives, and I highly recommend this place, because they are reasonably priced (relative to what a dealer would charge) and a friendly business.

Really amazing electrical troubleshooting!
I love my VW, but it’s ALWAYS been very slow-cranking...and I’ve had it for 5 years. (Recently, I even had to get a jump-start.) Several times, I asked the VW dealership to check into this, and the dealership could never find the cause. I had the dealership change the hi-amp fuses and the battery, but for various reasons I quit going to the VW service center two years ago. I was trying to fix this issue when I asked German Auto Center to put a new alternator on the car. But Bert offered to diagnose what the dealership could not...and he identified the problem that same day. It was a just faulty battery cable, and he saved me a lot of money by simply changing the cable. If I had installed a new alternator, I still have the problem...and I’d be out a lot of money. Now, the car starts up better than it EVER has and it sounds just like a new car. I’m really glad I listened to Bert!

10Less than 1/2 the price of the dealer!
I called German Auto Center after getting a quote from the dealer and they quoted me less than half.
They had my car ready the next day and allowed me to pick it up after hours. They made everything so
